The Outstanding Tiny Desk AI video is the vertical viral cut of Charlie Wilson's NPR Tiny Desk closer: about 19 seconds of The Gap Band's "Outstanding" in five shots. Here's who is on screen in each shot, and how to put your own people in, with CapCut or with AI.

These clips are from the original. In a Tiny Desk AI video, the people you add take these spots; the spots you leave are dogs, and removing a dog keeps the coach from the viral video.

Why Tiny Desk AI skips the profile shot
A face swap can't hold up on a side profile, so a Tiny Desk AI video starts on the band shot, where every face is turned to the camera, and runs about 18 seconds. The rest of the cut stays as it is. Other generators choose differently: some keep all five shots, others make 11 to 15 second cuts with fewer people.

Is the Outstanding Tiny Desk AI template free?
