Tiny Desk AIGuide
Is there a free Tiny Desk AI generator?
Updated October 30, 2026
Short answer: you can get one full video free on outstandingtinydesk.net, or a 4-second preview on tinydeskai.tv. After that every generator charges, because each face swap runs on a paid AI video model. Here are the free ways to make it, what the first paid video costs on each site, and which one to pick.
Free ways to make it
- A CapCut template: The viral cuts and the song. The catch: your face isn't in the singing performance; you add photos or effects on top.
- First video free on outstandingtinydesk.net: One full 19-second video, up to 5 people. The catch: only once; after that it's $4.99 a video.
- Free preview on tinydeskai.tv: A 4-second, 480p clip with a watermark, one per account. The catch: it only shows whether the face looks right; the full video is $9.99.
- Signup credits on AI video apps: On some apps, enough for one shot. The catch: not enough for the whole clip, and you cut, stitch and add the song yourself.
- Doing it yourself: Full control with any AI video model that has a reference or edit mode. The catch: the model renders still cost money, plus an hour or so of editing.
If you want to try the do-it-yourself route, our tutorial covers which photos work and what to check in the result.

Free and pricing questions
Is there a free Tiny Desk AI generator?
Partly. outstandingtinydesk.net says your first video is free, and tinydeskai.tv gives a free 4-second, 480p preview with a watermark. The other generators we checked, including Tiny Desk AI at $9.98 for 1 to 5 people, charge for the first video, because every swap runs on a paid AI video model.
Can I make the Outstanding Tiny Desk video free with CapCut?
CapCut templates give you the cuts and the song for free, but they don't render your face into the performance. For the face swap you need an AI video model.
Why doesn’t Tiny Desk AI have a free trial?
Each video runs on a paid AI video model. Instead of a watermarked trial, we refund credits automatically if a video can’t be made, retry anyone who didn’t get swapped at our cost, and refund unused packs within 14 days.
Which Tiny Desk AI generator is the best?
It depends on what you need. For a free first try, outstandingtinydesk.net; for 1080p, tinydeskai.tv. For a whole coaching staff or team, with the whole person swapped (face, hair and clothes) and a silent copy for TikTok, Tiny Desk AI does any 1 to 5 at 720p for $9.98.
What’s the cheapest way to make several on Tiny Desk AI?
Buy a pack: 3 videos for $24.99 or 10 videos for $59.99. Credits never expire, so you can save them for next weekend's losing coaches.
